You and I have so much in common in so many ways. I found myself mesmerized by this slide show, watching it easily 3 times through. Thank you for the picture of you in there. No longer the mystery Pepek gal. Now you have a face. I giggled out loud at "food", fell in love with your dogs, agree with so many of your interests, and could feel the existence of your heart for this life.

I am just cruising around from site to site tonight saying hello and relishing the phenomenon that is blogging. We take it up innocently and in it, if we are open to it, find a doorway to true friendships with like people all over the world and in our own home town.

What I think I’m saying is . . . . . “I’m really glad I met you – even though I have not yet really met you – and may never actually meet you – it is still amazing.”

Maryellen, I think my cyberfriends are as dear to my heart as any flesh and blood friends (not that you are not flesh and blood. I KNOW you are not all just airey figments of my imagination!) Glad you cruised by tonight!

January, I'm happy that you liked my picture show! Congrats on your poem. You should be publishing Books, volumes, of poetry.

I loved your collage of favorite things. A peek at the life and loves of a wonderful and talented woman. I too thank you for adding a picture of yourself.
I share many of your interests, loved the picture of family and thought the picture of your dogs was adorable.

I don't know why but that made me think of a TIME CAPSULE! Very cool stuff! sweetie! Those doggies in the window made me think of that old song! "How much is that doggie in the window, that one with the waggle-LY tail?" LOL

What maryellen said. And everyone else too.

wendy, the china cup was my mother's when she was a child.

The miners headlamp my father wore in the mines, the bronze cowboy boot was my 6 year old sons--my husband had it bronzed as a mother's day present. (It still has a rock in the heel!) My FIlipina daughter-in-law does all the fantastic cross-stitches. "Somewhere in Time" is the song that plays in the music-box picture frame (photo of my son and his (now wife)girlfriend taken in Japan. There is a bullet at the toe of the boot--from Gettysburg. My great-grandfather fought there. Anyway, each picture has its own story to tell....

Pam, I knew we shared many interests! I always enjoy my visits with you!

tc, my dogs are brother and sister. When we got them, it was specified that they go together, because they love each other, and would be too sad and depressed otherwise. That was ok. They are good company for each other, and for me.
