WI: FIRE AND ICE

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if I had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

I say this poem all the time out loud. For some reason, I decided to learn it one day. I babble it whenever I'm bored.

I love it; Robert Frost is the man!

I think desire certainly leads towards fire. Anyway, I don't like the cold.

Frost always had a way with the words, and this just proves it more and more. Thanks for reminding me of a favorite author's work.
