Jacob picked a beautiful bouquet of yellow flowers and brought them to me. "Thank you," I said, giving him a hug and a kiss.
"How NICE I am!" he said.

Dandelions from sweet children, a time honored gesture.

Since I was already in the mood of remembering..this touched my heart so deeply. My days of dandelions are over for now...but you gave me hope of them returning some day!!
PS my horse LOVES to nibble them! but clover is his favorite...The mare prefers her treats served on a silver platter!!
That's sweet! Our rabbit loves dandelions, the leaves more than the flowers.
a 'small' summer wine can be made with Dandelions. I tried. It didn't work. But I have made elderberry wine.
