Confessions
I am Confessions!
by Saint Augustine
You're a sinner, you're a saint, you do not feel ashamed of your past, but it did such a great job of teaching you what not to do. Now you've become a devout Christian and have spent more time ruminating on the world to come rather than worldly pleasures. Your realizations and ability to change will bring reverence upon you despite your hedonistic transgressions. Florida will honor you most in the end.
Thanks to my friend Nienke at The Writing Life for the Book Quiz. Try it! Find out what book you are! I still ruminate upon worldly pleasures a lot though...not to mention all my hedonistic transgressions. Nienke was The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. (Let me know what book you are.)
But what is that stuff about Florida, anyway?

I love this Joyce, you'll never guess which book I am! Alice In Wonderland. Missed this post, and putting it on my blog! Thanks!
P.S. At least you know what you're doing!
You don't strike me as this type of book, Joyce, especially after I just watched you dancing in the elf video, hee hee.
Sheesh, I'm Mastor Harold and the Boys, by Athol Fugard. I'm messed up.
i am drawn to the confessions of saint augustine,, not in that i ever aspire to embrace Christianity,, but because he has proven that no matter how far one strays ,, there is always a way home...
This quiz was fun. I took it over and over again, mixing and matching answers to see the various results. Bottom line - I can be a very confusing person. LOL
Anne of Green Gables saying thank you, Joyce! :)) Fun post!
I'm 'The Poisonwood Bible', a book I have never read. 'Deeply rooted in a religious background, you have since become both isolated and schizophrenic' is a poor start, bearing in mind the cheerful non-alignment of my formative years. I quite like 'isolated and schizophrenic', though - sort of dark and Dostoievskian. Okay - I'll go for it.
Hehe. I am amazed and astounded at the accuracy of this little test. Jo, are ARE Alice! Christine, I looked up Master Harold--it's not so bad....paisley, as, yes, I fear I am Augustine after all. (I did not know I could dance so well, Christine).
Annie, are you still confused?
And Petra, you ARE Anne! You just ARE, I know it!
Dick, you must read Poisonwood Bible! It's a terrific book. A story seen through many differing eyes. Maybe a bit schizo.
