I and K in Legoland!

My two little Swedes at the Mall of America in Minneapolis! They love to build things with Legos, so this was a real treat. We are looking forward to our visit with them in a few weeks. Aren't they handsome dudes? I is five years old, and K is three. They are both clever and polite and very very smart!

Indeed, they are very handsome... smart and clever doesn't hurt either. Love the Lego robot, it amazes me what they do with those things.

And a very happy birthday to you, my friend, I am sending love and hugs!

I remember seeing something on TV about the super collider. I understand exploration and experimentation but wonder if we shouldn't spend some of that time and money on fixing our problems.

Thank you, on all counts!

Re: money spent on supercolliders--you mean instead of spending it on something that may possibly (but not probably) kill us off?

Heh....

Too cute P. Those smiles just make your heart melt huh! I have two new nephews a year and a half.
Love them to pieces. I'm sure grandma will be doing a lot of spoiling! :)

*I and K!!!* I'd adore a trip to Legoland with you!

heh!

I actually want to get some of the just plain old brick-style ones, to work out different brick bond patterns and things. It's, um, unfortunately way low on the Budget Priority List just now. But I know I'll get to them at some point in the next couple of years.

Actually, quilt patterns are a rich source of ideas for brick patterns for me. I looked and looked, searched high and low, for a good book of different pix of nice brickwork a couple years back. Then it occurred to me that these quilt books I got from the library, who had them on the Unloading These Books table for 25 cents each, were really what I was looking for. Geometric blocks of material, put into various patterns over many years of creative thought.

They're totally gorgeous. They will both be babe magnets, I'm sure. For now, grandma-magnets. Sweet! You coming back soon?
