PT: Guerrilla Poetry

Welcome to my corner of the world. This is my neighborhood book group (minus one or two), where last night we read a little poetry, talked a little poetry, had cupcakes and Sprite, and I left a poem (or two or three) with each of them. And here are the pictures to prove it.

Aren't they beautiful people?

That looks like it was a fun gathering! And it's given me an idea... we have a reading night coming up in May with my circle of writing friends; I think I'll try to arrange a poetry exchange. Cheers!

Excellent. Especially the cupcakes. Maybe next time we can write verse in frosting on the cupcakes...hmmm... sounds good AND yummy.

So beautiful, in fact, that I posted their picture TWICE!

hm. Blogger won't let me edit this. Oh well.

Nice. Friendly looking bunch. What poem did you hand out? Or was it poems? Your tactics (and everybody's, it seems), were more original than mine.

Yes. What a lovely bunch indeed. Ummm...I never had any kids and don't know much about them. But is that adorable little kitten there looking for dinner?

And I like that verse in frosting idea, a lot. Just think of the possibilities...!

A wonderful group. There are no reading groups in my area, but my sister and I like to read together and share.

Thanks for the pictures. May you more of such meets.

Cupcakes? Yum!

What a great way to share poetry in your community. What poem did you hand out?
