My mother was afraid that I would run off and paint flowers on my cheeks and live in a commune, and grow vegetables. I once smoked pot. ONE TIME. 10. I don't drink or smoke. (Or swear, much. Well, I drink milk, and water, and orange juice, and stuff. Cocoa. I love Pepsi.) 11. Most of my friends are invisible. 12. I am a poet and a writer. All of my writing on these pages is copyrighted. Borrowing (without acknowledgment) is a sin.

Yes, I am one lucky grandmother. (and one is still not present here)--I will have to find a recent picture. But the first picture, with Grandpa? The baby will soon be two years old.

A boy, sidewalk, and bike an inseparable combination. He's too cute!
It all goes too fast.....I thought that yesterday, my sevenyearold snuggled up next to me in the cinema and I gasped, he looked as big as a teenager (he is tall for his age)....one of his front teeth fell out this morning (they've been very late) and he's a bit thrown by it all, sensing the significance, and wanting snuggles. SIGH.Before I know it, they'll be gone off to university or somewhere.
