Once, at a parent-teacher conference, the teacher told me my little boy was "spacey." We ALL are, I told her. The whole fan damily is spacey. She thought I was kidding. I wasn't. 8. I used to travel with a theater reperatory company. My parents weren't happy about this. 9. My mother was afraid that I would run off and paint flowers on my cheeks and live in a commune, and grow vegetables. I once smoked pot. ONE TIME. 10. I don't drink or smoke. (Or swear, much. Well, I drink milk, and water, and orange juice, and stuff. Cocoa. I love Pepsi.) 11. Most of my friends are invisible. 12. I am a poet and a writer. All of my writing on these pages is copyrighted. Borrowing (without acknowledgment) is a sin.

Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.
I think its finally fixed! The computer guy came by (after I talked to the lady in India for about an hour and a half), fiddled around for a few minutes, and it works!
Yay!
Good thing it's working again; there's always the old pen and paper method, but then you'd still have to transcribe it if you wanted to upload later for an official count.
Btw, the NaNo site is a lot less slow if you go early in the morning.

Got to 10k today, woohoo! Btw, do you have any idea how Nanomail works? Do all the msgs self-destruct after one day? I got yours, btw, thanks! But then when I went there the next day is had vanished. Just wondering if I should make more of a point of checking it every day.
